RESTful ABAP Create Entity CDS View| ABAP On Cloud


CDS layer we use and manipulate data that is persisted in the database. To make data available in the ABAP application server, CDS views use SQL queries to project persisted data to the ABAP layer. This is necessary to create an OData service to make the data ready to be consumed.
